3D Mac TX

is a small company in Alpine Texas in the United States of America. It is owned by Michael 'Mac' McDaniel who has been professionally working with computers, data storage, and security since 1975, and in a 'previous life' traveled the world doing automated industrial automation. That was an experience that helped foster my interest in 3D printing, another method of manufacture. This is called additive manufacturing, AM (as opposed to subtractive manufacturing). There are some factories today that 3d manufacture products and reduce raw material usage up to 80% (also referenced on Resources page).

I create 3D printed items using (currently) Filament Deposition Manufacturing (with plastic filament). I will be expanding my offerings moving forward.
